What we need to win!

What we need to win in November.

I've had a few people ask me, "how can we help?"
For those that have been around awhile, you pretty much know, but we've had a LOT of new members come in within the last few days! WE ARE GROWING!!! Thanks to some other groups letting us recruit!

The first thing is DONATE. I don't ask for a lot. Just $10 a month, with enough people, can make a difference.
Now, we do need other things but we really can't do them effectively without people doing this first.

He is what we need. Right now, the local Democrats have a full time office. We aren't talking about a room in a store like we have, or access to a conference room and PO box like we have but an actual building that people can go to and pick of signs, literature, make calls, etc.

People driving by their office can see there is a Monroe County Democratic Party but we are invisible to most Republicans. We need to be the first organization Republicans turn to.

So not only do we need an office, but first we need the funds to make an office worth it. We need a year around phone/text system. We need printed material to to hand out. We need the data for the phone system.

The GREAT news is, the office is the end game. We can start being effective with a phone/text system.

Another thing we need during election time is mailers to Republicans. The priority is to send out Absentee Ballot Request forms to all Republicans. We have been doing that since 2018 and each election, we increased Republican absentee ballot returns by almost 11% a year!
Part with this, is mailing all those voters, that are Republican aligned, forms to register to vote.
In 2018, we sent out 1000. I just rechecked the numbers and they are a little lower than I thought but the percentages are great.
Out of 1000, we had 282 returned for bad addresses.
560 were registered (I accidentally counted other methods of registering when I gave totals to people or on here previously. Sorry about that.) That works out to 78% of all the ones with valid addresses!
Out of those 560, 302 voted!

We have 30,000 Republicans that have been identified and if the numbers hold, that could result in over 9000 more votes. That would turn us red! (realistically, a lot more of those 30k would be bad addresses since that would mean we would more than double our numbers BUT even if it just increases us by half of that, we would be winning)
Now, with printing/postage and if we fold them ourselves, just the registration drive will cost us ~$11,500.
To mail out absentee ballots-~$6000
Data system to identify voters~$2500/mo
Now, just having this would be make a BIG difference.
Keep in mind, the Dems have this system EVERY month. We have only had it for September and October in 2018/19. (and we picked up 8 seats due to it!)

We are handicapping ourselves.
Now, we also need volunteers when we have these tools. We have been lacking the last two years there but that is my fault. I usually wait until everything is in place and THEN ask.
Well, I'm asking anyone interested to be on "stand-by" to be able to make phone calls, label/stamp stuff etc.
Just understand, if we don't put a call out, it's because we have nothing for you to do because we don't have the tools for you to do it!
So keep volunteering in mind but right now, I need everyone on this page that really want Republicans elected to go to the link below and sign up for the $10/month plan.

Don't expect "political welfare" and think "someone else will do it?"
We had an "angel donor" the last couple of years, but last year, the Democrats targeted him and his business.
They do not want us to get the tools to compete with them.
We also shouldn't expect a few people to do all the donations because we are ALL impacted by our poor

In closing, we keep wanting to fight the Democrats here, but the fight we have to win is OUR fight first. Do we want to keep expecting political welfare or are we going to finally stop relying on charity from others and finally join the fight??

Join the fight here.
